Getting married here at Elmbridge Farm you have the freedom to make your wedding day totally unique and personal to you, and that’s exactly what Laura and Chris did! It was wonderful to see so many family and friends participating and sharing in their day and making the occasion so incredibly special. From choosing a family member to lead their ceremony to playing lawn games with friends as the sun set, it was a truly personalised experience and a perfect example of how to make your wedding your own!
In the morning…
The bridal party made use of our cottages the night before the wedding, and spent a morning being pampered and prepped for the big day ahead before the groom arrived in style for the ceremony! Laura looked nothing short of amazing in her gown – a stunning, simple dress completed with a luxurious lace overlay. Amy Rose captured the most gorgeous photos throughout.
The ‘I Do’s
The lovely lakeside ceremony was led by the bride’s brother, and there were a whole host of other friends eager to lend a hand on the big day. The incredible flowers created a huge talking point from start to finish and were provided by Botanical Rose, a family friend. The harp music Laura walked down the aisle to was even played by one of her bridesmaids. Every element of the day had the personal touch! It was simple countryside elegance, but with it’s own unique twist.
The celebration!
A prosecco reception followed and there were kegs of beer flowing too, all provided by the couple corkage free. The afternoon was whiled away with chatter in the grounds of the tipi, whilst the happy couple were able to grab photos of themselves and their loved ones. When the time came for guests to take their seats, there was a gorgeous selection of sharing boards from Kemp & Kemp catering. Luckily the guests left a little room, though, as the evening brought plenty of pizza, which was served from an awesome van provided by Vine’s Pizza Shack!
