Last month we were lucky enough to welcome Natures Edge Films over to Elmbridge Farm to create a series of videos. The aim was to show off our tipi venue and give you a little taste of what a wedding here looks like – as a brand new venue we have been bursting to show off our stunning outdoor space and our brand spanking new giant tipi. We chose Natures Edge Films for our shared love of natural settings offering something different. We knew they’d impress and we were right!
We collaborated with some of our favourite local suppliers to style the venue with a romantic and relaxed, countryside feel. The Wedding House (venue dressers) and their partners, The Flower House, are just the other side of the village, and we were delighted to finally be working on a project together. I cannot recommend Katie and her team enough! They nailed the look, were super organised and they’re a lovely team of people.
Possibly the best part of this project was the need to find a wedding dress for our model Bride to wear and I knew just who to call: Perfections Bridal Studio. Located on Friar Street in Worcester, I often walk past their window and swoon over the dresses under the spotlights in their shop front so I was just delighted when Julie invited me in to choose a dress to borrow. There I was one Friday afternoon, trying on divine gowns by the likes of Sassi Holford and Essense of Australia. What a stunning collection they have in there! The knowledgeable assistant helped me choose a dress to fit the look of the shoot, a show-stopping lace and beaded number by Essense of Australia.
Struggling last minute for a Bride and Groom, our office colleague Max and his lovely girlfriend, Georgia, got the call up and thankfully obliged, despite Georgia being between paramedic nightshifts. Elmbridge Farm is a relaxed venue with loads of space to enjoy and we tend to attract couples with children and so we wanted the videos to include the two most adorable flower girl models we could find…our daughters! Just how angelic they appear in the videos is testament to the skill of Steve at Natures Edge, a dab hand with toddler negotiations, being a Dad himself.
The shoot took part over two days, giving us time to set the scene on the first day and bring in Rebecca Fulton, our chosen photographer, to snap some still photography for us.
So here they are! What do you think?
Check out two of the videos we shot below.
We’ll have more to show you soon!
…We’d love to show you around the venue in person, just get in touch here!
